Vegan Certificate

The Vegan Society’s standards for Vegan certification.

According to these standards, a product can be certified as “vegan” if the following four requirements are met:

  • No animal ingredients or ingredients derived from animals
  • No animal testing of the ingredients or of the finished product
  • No genetically-modified organisms involving animal genes or animal-derived substances
  • Compliance with kitchen and hygiene standards 

BRCGS Certificate

The BRCGS global standard for food safety is one of the operational tools most frequently used worldwide for due diligence and supplier approval.

It helps companies to select and qualify their suppliers and provides a framework for managing product safety, integrity, legality and quality in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.

This certification serves to:

  • Certification to the global standard comprises assessment of a company’s premises, operational systems and procedures against the requirements of the standard
  • The standard is regularly revised and maintaining certification requires adherence to the latest version of the standard. 

Halal Certificate 

Halal certification applies to the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors and attests that a product is manufactured in full compliance with the precepts of Islamic Law, that it does not include any “forbidden” components, and has in no way been in contact with any substances or objects considered “impure”.

This certification serves to:

  • guarantee Islamic consumers that their religious precepts have been respected
  • ensure a high level of hygiene and safety of the product
  • respond to the growing demand for Halal products on the Italian and international markets.
